How do you identify?: Female, femme-looking, with butch tendencies. I like a girl that knows how to be girly and lets me take control sometimes, but at the same time can take the wheel and make me feel tiny and precious and cared for.

Interests/hobbies: Papercrafting, particularly scrapbooking; cooking, reading, collecting glass and porcelain bunnies and cats, musical theatre.

I love animals, cats in particular.

Favourite books: Tipping the Velvet, The Harem of Aman Akbar, What Einstein Told His Cook, Table for One, White Oleander, The Well of Loneliness, The Anne of Green Gables series, and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, to name a few.

Favourite films: I’m not a big film buff, and though I enjoy movies I don’t have a lot of all-time favorites. I liked Amelie, Chocolat, and quite a few Disney animated movies, though.

Favourite music: Showtunes, indie music, and some pop. My favorite artists include Kristen Chenowitz, Melissa Etheridge, Storm Large, Jewel, The Corrs, Sting, Lily Allen, Up Dharma Down, Lorena McKennit, Miley Cyrus (just the music, people), Taylor Swift, Massive Attack, Jennifer Terran, and Sarah McLachlan.

What would you like to send/receive?: Snail mail, postcards, cards, occasional packages, bookmarks, mail clippings, photos, used bus tickets, used tickets to whatever with a story attached, anything that tells me what that person’s day was like, what their life is like. Pretend love letters are nice, too.


Who would you like to send mail to and receive mail from?: While I’m pretty open to receiving mail from anyone who feels that they’d like to share of themselves and get to know someone new, I’d love to find Queer crafting people or Queer foodies who would also like to exchange mail. Or pet lovers. Or people interested in Filipino food and culture and would like to exchange information about their own.

I'm also open to serving as a writing partner for those who would like to just write love letters to the character in their head.


What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: I’m interested in mail from anywhere but my own country – I’ve a group here too, and am looking to expand my horizons. However, those who live far away, like, the Netherlands, for example, will have to be a bit patient with me. I’m not exactly loaded and it might be a few weeks between letters.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: The following will ensure that you never receive a reply from me: any paraphernalia with gore or excrement (yes, someone once sent me a piece they scribbled on with blood), animal or human body parts, or religious paraphernalia in the interest of converting me.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: Something that shows me something about what you believe in, where you live, your culture, your thoughts. I also love anything handmade.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I’m pretty easygoing, and I’m really curious about other people, but I’m pretty shy and slow to disclose things, so maybe it would be nice if you would ask questions in the first few letters. I’d also like to exchange emails first before we start snail mailing.

I've been told I'm quite sensual, and have no problem with someone who would like to send adult-themed letters (I'm sorry if this isn't allowed, mods?), but it would be nice if we establish that first from friendly, get-to-know you emails.
