Interests/hobbies: Writing is something I'm always thinking about and yet can never seem to do XD, reading, friends, anime, drawing, music, my guitar, and I'm hoping to get into ceramics soon. Concerts, volunteering, kids, making connections, silly little crafts, Awesome, profound, inspirational quotes.

Favourite books: Neverwhere, Anansi Boys, Coraline, American Gods, Smoke and Mirrors, Fragile Things, Wuthering Heights, The Child Theif, The Lord of The Rings - Tolkein, Watership Down, Peter Pan, so many many more it's too hard to keep track of them all.

Favourite films: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, The Breakfast Club, Ponyo, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (and their Bogus Journey) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (huge Disney Fan), Amadeus, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead. Many more.

Favourite music: ...no one wants to read this list. I'll list my current favourites: Big D and the Kids Table, Gallows, Sublime, Hallelujah by Rufus Wainright (yes, it's a song. But I'm listening to it over and over again), Led Zeppelin, Tegan and Sara, Green Day, Dropkick Murphies, Bad Religion, Mustard Plug...so many more. I can't think of them all at the moment. 

What would you like to send/receive?: email, snail mail eventually, maybe?

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: People with similar taste?

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: It doesn't matter, I'm not picky

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Nothing sexual. 

What would be in your dream letter or package?: Something handmade probably, that'd make my day.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm me, I've tried this before but it didn't quite work and I really really would love to find a penpal of some sort. I love writing letters and such. I'm really lovable.

i really have to ask this.
you have Coraline listed as your favorite book. Is that the same as the Tim Burton's movie? Because I love the movie a lot more.

Yes, it's the same. Though it isn't a Tim Burton movie, it's a Henry Selick movie (he worked on The Nightmare Before Christmas with Tim Burton I think.) I have to disagree with you on the movie, then again I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan. The way he writes is so simple, and I think that's the scariest bit. Like the ticklish feeling of a spider crawling up your arm. The book made me check the darkest corners of my room. The movie didn't give that feeling.

I'm so glad that someone else makes the Coraline correction. I mean, I love Tim Burton's work, but I dislike him being credited with the work of Selick.
Musical, film and literary tastes are ace. I'm saying that in comparison to mine. I suppose it is subjective, but yeah.
