Well, I'm here... and that's a good start, yeh?
I'm Zora Hurst, but you can call me Zoe.
I'm nearly sixteen.
I live in Iowa City, Iowa--my mum works at the universit ywhich is famous for writer's workshops and liberalism.
I'm a mystery... Attracted to both genders and I fancy myself a bit of a cross-dresser, though, being a teenage girl, it come off as a bit rock grunge.
I read a lot, but music is my calling. I play the bassoon, the violin, the piano and the string bass. I fence, foil-style... I'm a music whore.
Jonathan Safran Foer is an amazing writer, I've read all of his works, a well as most of Tolkein, Vonnegut, Bierce, Zola and Saki.
I adore Rupert Grint; Driving Lessons is always a favourite, I'm a sucker for Adam Sander and Will Ferrel films--I'm also a superhero junkie, mad about Spiderman and Teen Titans, Batman: The Dark Knight was sinfully deligtful. Inception gave me chills.
LA ROUX! FLORENCE + THE MACHINE! AQUALUNG! MUTEMATH! THE DOORS! MINUS THE BEAR! QUEEN! TROUBLE OVER TOKYO! MICHAEL RABINOWITZ!
I'm willing to send stories, letters, music recommendations and (probably poor, as will be reckless) advice.
Willing to recieve anything from anyone.
I read/write english (of course) a bit of French also-- I'm not fluent but I'm not completely useless.
No pictures unless I ask, I'm not willing to part with mine easily either, so it may come off frigid, but I'm trying to ease the pressure.
Just intoduce yourself, tel me something strange; the color of your socks, how you like your eggs, a pair of shoes you wold kill for... Anything, really
Warning: I've a horribly religious mum, so if you don't get response as quick as you'd like, just know I'm finding a way to get around the constant hounding.
Am off to celbrate the greatest of weekends: Labor Day,
Zora Hurst
