What would you like to send/receive?: Email is great for a start...we will see what transpires from there. My brother collects stamps and I try to help him out; if you live outside of the US and would like to send stamps from the country where you live, I can send some from the US in exchange, or some other little goodie of equal value in exchange. I also love to cook and talk about food...I often have a recipe to share. :)

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: If you are Jewish and LGBT, especially if you live in part of the US or another country where being either or both is very difficult, let's write to each other. I am also interested in corresponding with lesbians who are open to discussing the barriers to civil rights that they face in the US or other countries. If you work in a library or academia in another part of the US, or another country, I would love to talk about it. I like to write about a lot of things, personal and political, and it would be nice to share correspondence with non-judgmental, open-minded people who like to talk about real issues and real feelings.

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere in the world. It will be easiest for me to correspond in English, although I am willing to read and write in Spanish, French, German or Russian if you are patient and willing to wait for a readable response.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") Fingers or toes, weapons, pornography, sex toys, dead animals, or substances deemed illegal in the United States.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: Pictures of strong, beautiful women.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I have a very stressful job, I am in mourning over the loss of my cat companion, and I treasure anything these days that makes me smile and laugh. I collect YouTube videos of cats, dogs, parrots, and other animals doing silly or intelligent things for this reason, and like to share the links sometimes.

I'm not Jewish, but I do work in a library (and am waffling on getting an information science MS while in grad school) I like talking about policy and the realities of situations (granted from a very critical view point).I travel often back to China, though due to the nature of my visits (visiting family), I don't really have a clue about the LGBT scene there.
