(no subject)

 Name: Sarah

Age: 16

Location: Eastern Idaho

How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) Queer/pansexual, and female

Interests/hobbies: I just love science (biology>chemistry>physics :P) and history. I do a lot of cooking and reading when I have the time. I like drawing too, although I'm not that good at it.

Favourite books: Julie Ann Peters, Tamora Pierce, Scott Westerfeld, and anything with a realistic LGBT character (I cannot get enough of these books. Mostly because they aren't very common. D: )

Favourite films: RENT, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, But I'm A Cheerleader, Milk, Wall-E, Up

Favourite music: Lady Gaga, RENT, Glee covers, Dropkick Murphys, Owl City, Roxette

What would you like to send/receive?: Anything goes. I can send letters, emails, (bad) drawings, recipes, etc. I'll love anything sent to me.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone really. It'd be awesome to talk to someone my own age and share experiences, and it'd be equally awesome to talk to someone who's older and has worldy experience~

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") Nothing sexual. And if sending a package or something, let me know first so I can expect it.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: Something meaningful. Which can be anything, when it comes down to it.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I may be a bit awkward for a while, so if letters/emails or whatnot seem short, I'm not disinterested.

Picture (optional):  Most recent:

Not a natural redhead though, it's a dyejob :P

Actual hair color:

Hey,
I'm still debating whether or not to join, but I'm 17 and mildly Gleeky (word?)

And though it sounds strange, I am also kind of weirdly fascinated by what it's like to be queer and living outside of a liberal enclave like the one I grew up in.

Also, where did you find an Icelandic version of Out Tonight? The American version of the song has been on my Top 10 list for ages, but I didn't know such a thing could exist.

I believe it... I've been with conservative relatives in a conservative town for the past two weeks-- I would definitely recommend making the switch, it's kind of scary here :)

Are you thinking about college in CA, NY, or somewhere else?

Wow, that's one of my contendors, too-- Madison, Ann Arbor, Chicago, or Boston. Somewhere FAR AWAY from the West Coast :) And Vancouver has to be one of the most beautiful, awesome places I've ever been. Horrifically expensive, though.

That's awesome. I used to live in a neighborhood with good, cheap vegetarian food-- I miss that. Does it feel like a city, or is it more of a big town?
