How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) Uhm, words suck for this. Born female, love feminity, married to a man and have three kids. I also love masculinity, dress/act genderqueer often, and enjoy it all. Basically... I love life from all aspects, I find joy in all people. I'm both male and female, and have found love with both men and women. (ta-da!)
Interests/hobbies: hiking, biking, mountains, climbing (trees, rocks, mountains, countertops...), sculpting, painting, gardening, watching football games (sorry, I don't keep track of leagues or stats), playing soccer, learning in general, writing
Favourite books: Well, right now I'm read A Critique of Pure Reason by Kant. The book before that was Cultivating Sacred Space, Gardening for the Soul by Elizabeth Murray. Before that it was something by John Muir about Yosemite. I like all kinds of things, but my favorite ever is One On One by Tabitha King.
Favourite films: Foxfire, What Dreams May Come, SuperTroopers, Hangover (OMG TRUNKNINJA WUT!), Batman: The Dark Knight, documentaries, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lord of the Rings trillogy, Legend of the Fall
Favourite music: Alice In Chains, Tool, Nirvana, Bush, Patti Griffin, Indigo Girls, Tenacious D, classical - especially anything heavy in cello, and classic rock and late Beatles
What would you like to send/receive?: handwritten letters, small drawings/artwork/crafts
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Open to anyone. I have a very hard time finding queer-friendly people here.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Depends on the individual sending/recieving with me; I only speak English but don't much care if I'm talking with someone who speaks it as a second.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") I have a bad latex allergy, so no balloons or condoms (!). No advertisements, porn, or single-minded hookup requests. Um, and be cool.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: A drawing and a letter about a deeply moving experience.
