How do you identify?: Lesbian
Interests/hobbies: Music, writing, various fandoms and other geeky interests (see my profile, if I attempted to list them all I'd be here all day), travel, crafting, wandering aimlessly or getting on random buses to see where I end up, being a bit of a pothead, various subcultures (I describe myself as a goth hippie, but am fascinated by others), amusement parks (especially amusement park history, especially Disney), lurking in coffee shops, Scrabble (Scrabble is the go-to social activity among my friends XD), body modification
Favourite books: Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Gregory MacGuire, Poppy Z Brite, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Laurell K. Hamilton (mmm guilty pleasure XD), Douglas Adams, guidebooks and just about anything about Disneyland/Imagineering/what have you, anything to do with queer issues.
Favourite films: Gia, Treasure Planet, the Pirates Of The Caribbean trilogy, old-school Disney, Watchmen, Better Than Chocolate, Sweeney Todd, RENT, and the occasional stupid comedy a la I Love You Man or Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Favourite music: Everything. Seriously. Try me. Favorite artists include Barenaked Ladies, Counting Crows, Ani DiFranco, and Marilyn Manson. I pay a lot of attention to lyrics and if a song tells a story or says something I find meaningful I will invariably love it. I also like music that can make me laugh, especially Bowling For Soup and Jonathan Coulton. Right now I'm having a complete obsession with Evan Greer -- if you like folk music and angry anarchist types, I highly suggest you go look up some of his stuff on YouTube RIGHT NOW.
What would you like to send/receive?: Anything! Letters, doodles, packages of random cool stuff or crafts...
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Pretty much anywhere.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Nothing in particular that I can think of.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Anything that's had some thought put into it will make me very very happy. :) And, er, since you asked, if someone in say, the UK or another country without a ridiculous ban on such things wanted to send me a pack of clove cigarettes, they'd probably be my new favorite person. Silly US. :P

Date: 2010-07-07 04:08 am (UTC)Thought I'd mention that clove cigarettes were rebranded and you can now find them in most cigar shops, labeled as "clove cigars" ...they're exactly the same though! I'm not sure if you can find them in CA, but they're on the east coast. I nearly fell over when I saw the black box.
