Why I'm Back: well, awhile back when this comm was featured i posted an.. ad? i guess. and i got a few pals, but somewhere down the line either i was forgetting to respond, or they were. and if you read this and happened to be one of my penpals from before, email me! i've lost your emails. DD:

so anyway, here i go again.

How do you identify?: i used to say i was attracted to people, and not a specific gender. upon googling pansexual, i realise those are relatively close. but i really don't think any label is accurate, as there are always exceptions. so i'm going to stick with saying i'm open minded. oh, and i have a vagina.

Interests/hobbies: i love music. and i wish i knew how to play an instrument. i want to learn drums, but at the moment don't have the money for lessons. i'm also a film fan. and i usually love indie movies, or dry comedies. mainstream films are okay, but i get bored with the lack of depth in most. i also write, draw, and paint (though not well). i'm a theatre tech during the school year, and a reader in the summer. i also hope to get into the art of simply cooking soon.

Favourite books: full tilt, the catcher in the rye, 1984, just listen, the giver, a perfect day for bananafish, hatchet, everlost, and others i can't remember. i love neal shusterman, sarah dessen, and j.d. salinger the most for the time being as authors. i have a lot of books to read still, and many on my to buy list from them.

Favourite films: get him to the greek, remember me, humble pie, cyrus, how to be, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the cake eaters, milk, shaun of the dead, orphan, gasland, men in black, my sister's keeper, funny people, and so so many more.

Favourite music: i listen mostly to alternative/post-hardcore/punk-rock. lately been listening to a lot of the used, escape the fate (ronnie style, not craig), senses fail, green day, cute is what we aim for, my chemical romance, all time low, black veil brides, paramore, and so on. i've also been listening to a lot of eminem, and some drake. which is kind of out of my box, but i like eminem more than any band at the moment.

What would you like to send/receive?: emails because i'm not out to my mother. and i also don't have money for the postage. :/

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: anyone who has a solid grasp on english, because it's all i really speak. and believe me, i barely speak that well. i know some spanish, but not enough to hold an intelligent conversation. lo siento ustedes.

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: anywhere really, but i would love to talk to canadians. i love canada, and i want to move there. so getting to know stuff about it would be really awesome.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: spam links, porn, or any general shit that will disturb me or fuck up my computer.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: i would love to swap a playlist. but in general i just want someone who really connects with me, and shows it in their responses.

Anything else you'd like to add?: i've been told i turn conversations in a "solemn/morbid/depressing" direction. and i don't mean to, mostly because i don't see it in that light. what most people consider depressing, i consider deep reality. so, i guess that's just a warning. i'm also highly sarcastic, in a good way though. i wear contacts/glasses. i cuss more than a sailor. i'm a vegetarian aspiring to reach veganism at one point. favourite colors are red, teal, and purple. i want five piercings and four tattoos at the moment. aand i'm terrified of bodies of water larger than a bath tub. what's up?(:
