How do you identify?: Pansexual female
Interests/hobbies: Reading, writing, cooking, baking, feminism, gay rights, gender studies, veganism, punk rock, body modification, tea, healthy living, natural health care products, vintage clothing, ballet, agnostic theism, fideism, percussion, drumming, playing guitar, singing, supporting local bands and businesses, left politics, cutting hair, photography.
Favourite books: To list individual books would take weeks. I love Cohen, Nabokov, Vonnegut and Salinger's writing styles, I also really enjoy reading a lot of factoid non-fiction about feminism, left-wing politics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, paranormal activity, lgbt rights, and plenty of other topics. Oh, and COMIC BOOKS! I'm a huge super heroine nerd. Strong women to the rescue!!
Favourite films: I love horror films. The idea of being scared when there is no real logical reason really appeals to me for some reason, haha.Psychological thrillers. I'm also a big sucker for romantic comedies.
Favourite music: I love punk rock, hardcore, power-pop, 50's style rock and folk music. The Clash, Ramones, Greenday, Against Me!, Descendents, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Gorilla Biscuits, Attack in Black, Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons, The Muffs, Arcade Fire, The Avett Brothers, The Nerves, The Beach Boys, Born Ruffians, Bouncing Souls, Feist, Fucked Up, Sara Slean, Third Eye Blind, Weakerthans, Propagandhi. Lot's more but I'll save you all the time, haha.
What would you like to send/receive?: I would like to interact through email and lj messages.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: I would like to hear from people who have things in common with me and (not to be ageist) who are close to my age.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Any!
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: I would rather not hear from anyone who's political views are on the opposite side of the spectrum. Anyone who is pro-life, fundamentalist christian, incredibly right wing,...things of that nature. I doubt there are any people like that in this particular community, but I just thought I'd be clear!
Anything else you'd like to add?: I guess I'll add that I am currently in a long-term relationship so I am not posting on this to pursue any sort of internet dating or relationship, I'm just here to make new friends! :)
