Name: Jonie, among other things depending on who you are.

Age: 22

Location: Southern California, Mojave Desert, I'll share pictures if you will. =]

How do you identify?: I consider myself a lesbian, mostly for convenience, and because men to me just don't strike me as sexy. I do like guys though, but as friends, I think the way straight guys see other dudes. My gender identity is... confusing. I ID as a woman for all intensive purposes, but hearing me exclaim I'm a man and enjoying being called one, isn't even remotely unusual. I like both genders, but I'm not androgynous, but I like to venture from highly feminine to masculine-feminine, occasionally binding my chest with too-tight sports bras. Men's and Women's clothing is just dandy for me and I love my curves.

Interests/hobbies: Short Answer: Everything, I'm a curious fucker. Long Answer (e.i. things I can go on about): Education is probably my favorite topic, ask any of my professors. I am super passionate about teaching and best practices. Dogs are a close follow up because, again, I enjoy teaching. I spent and spend a lot of time learning about breeds and training methods. My favorite breed is definitely the Border Collie. Sex is always popular with me, and I love talking about it. In fact if you're uncomfortable with sex, getting a long with me can be difficult. Ideally my pen-pal would enjoy porn, literotica, and toys as much or more than I do. For more reference, I love: cats, religion, politics, hypothetical questions and scenarios (especially concerning the apocalypse), role playing*, philosophy, math, sexuality, cultural examination, arguing, books, movies, tv, gardening, airsoft, shopping, and much, much more.

*If you role play, you better contact me. I so desperately need and want a partner =(

Favourite books: I hate listing my favorite books. I am completely, head-over heels in love with a terrible series: The Earth Children. It's most famous book was The Clan of the Cave Bear, and its made me completely romanticize primitive living. I enjoy young adult novels. They're just easy and quick to read, and I like that. I'm always up for a good suggestion, but my reading time in primarily centered around textbooks and blogs.

Favourite films: I love a lot of movies. I'll help you get an idea of my taste range though: The Breakfast Club, American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, Space Balls, Hot Shots, Vanilla Skies, Fur, Moulin Rouge!, Across the Universe, Fight Club, Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas, Get Him to the Greek, anything to do with aliens or the end of the world. I like horror and comedies from romantic to raunchy. Drama can be alright, but I tend to laugh if I feel like the director tried to push the moments too hard. I'll watch pretty much anything, but really, really love apocalyptic, preferably without the zombies (I just can't buy into it, I Am Legend is as close to zombies as I care for).

Favourite music: Kind of all depends on the song. I'll admit that I like some music that really isn't that good. My favorite song: Wish You Were Here. My Favorite Band: Weezer. It's true I find a lot less songs that I enjoy in the genres of rap and country and a lot more within rock, but if it sounds good or its catchy, I'll listen.

What would you like to send/receive?: Letters mostly. I enjoy big, thick letters. Pictures are super cool. Trinkets like a weird rock you or I found are also nice. I wouldn't mind swapping books, but that can be pricey and the post office is no where near where I live.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: I think women would tickle me the most. I'm not completely closed off to some snazzy guys though. IDEALLY: girls who enjoy flirting and teasing. I'm not looking to date (I mean... maybe), I just enjoy doing those things.

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: If your country will send it, I'll receive it!

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Anything expensive. It gives me serious anxiety, and its happened a few times to me. It resulted in the termination of our friendship. I know it sounds harsh, but I'm broke and its really engrained into my beliefs that I return obligations in equal or greater value.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A twenty page letter, that shows that you've really thought about the topic at hand and I am figuratively dying to write back, also a few pictures of whatever is awesome.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I don't speak other languages, but I'm always jazzed to learn new things. I love listening to people and learning about them. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian... I'm pretty much the opposite, if fact I hope to raise my own meat so I know its healthy and ethically treated and nothing is wasted, but if you don't try to change me I won't try to change you. I do love to talk about that kind of stuff though. I'm super, super hard to offend, but admittedly I'll probably offend you. I tend to lean to the right politically... so there's that. I'm not pushy with what I believe, but I do enjoy discussions on conflicting ideals. I have a thing for poly-amorous and bi-sexual women, dunno why.

HUGE NOTE:
Before we go all physical mail on each other, I need to be super comfy with you.
This means, I'll need a number of emails before I go further.
Only email, texting, or IMing are cool with me too.

Picture (optional): My hair is longish right now, and it's my preference, but I'm probably going to cut a lot of it off, because I took my hair for granted and did some damaging things to it. =(

This is probably me in my most natural state: my dog, outside, messy ponytail, and cheesy grin. Pure fucking joy. =]

And me as I am right this moment, unshaven armpits and thrilled that I lost 25 pounds. Yay tight t-shirts.

The Breakfast Club! One of the first and without a doubt the single best teenage angst films ever. I can recite almost every line from that film!!!

If you ever want to chat about it on IM I'd love to!
