How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) Bisexual/lesbian/asexual female/genderqueer
Interests/hobbies: Listening to new music, playing guitar & drums, reading, writing, football, photography
Favourite books: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy, Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt series... I just like to read a lot, there aren't many that I'd read more than once, though.
Favourite films: Identity, Equilibrium, Panic Room, Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club, High Fidelity. Most films with John Cusack, Kate Beckinsale, Ryan Gosling, Kristen Stewart, Christian Bale. My favourite director is Christopher Nolan.
Favourite music: Most favouritest band is MUSE!!! After that, all bands are equal - some are just more equal than others. I'm a rock kid, I love the old bands like Deep Purple, Queen, Led Zep, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, etc. Also Paul Simon! If asked offhand, I'd also say stuff like ABBA, Something Corporate (piano rock), Band of Horses, The National, old-school pop like Britney, BSB, Hanson, also I love Lady Gaga's work, and all the English/English-like synthy female musicians e.g. Ellie Goulding, Ladyhawke (Kiwi!!!), La Roux, Marina and the Diamonds etc. Tegan and Sara, Artisan Guns, Blonde Redhead, John Murphy, Daft Punk, Death Cab, Kanye West, Eminem... I'm just going to stop now. I could go on forever, as I imagine most people could.
What would you like to send/receive?: Email, mail, mixtapes/mix CDs, book recs/books, whatever that's not illegal or creepy/life-threatening
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Cool people who have an open mind and like to talk about random things, shoot the breeze basically, and can engage in thoughtful conversation if it arises
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere, particularly England
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Illegal/life-threatening things, also no creepy things please, though I guess that really depends on the person's definition of "creepy"..
What would be in your dream letter or package?: A great book, mixtapes/mix CDs, a really awesome read in general.
