Interests/hobbies: I love painting/drawing/pasteling, driving around at night, hanging out at barnes and noble wishing I had more money to spend there, collecting vinyl records, reading, playing video games (brawl, pokemon, ace attorney), playing piano and harmonica, reading fashion magazines, music magazines aand I also like anime/manga, history, baking, running, foreign languages etc etc etc

Favourite books: the joy luck club, memoirs of a geisha, a thousand splendid suns, the kite runner, scar tissue, walk this way, the kid (what happened after my boyfriend and I decided to get pregnant), freakonomics, gang leader for a day, great expectations, sherlock holmes, and too many more to list. I love mysteries, biographies (especially about musicians), and books about the study of society (hence why i'm a soc major).

Favourite films: the breakfast club, inglorious basterds, the boondock saints, a-team, ocean's eleven. i'm such a movie snob :(

Favourite music: aerosmith, red hot chili peppers, fleetwood mac, the rolling stones, guns n' roses, rilo kiley, bon jovi, warrant, katy perry, cobra starship, paramore, natasha bedingfield, lady gaga, aaand pretty much anything as long as I can understand the singer. I love love love music.

What would you like to send/receive?: emails at first and then eventually it would be great to get post cards or letters! ♥

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: anybody! I'm super interested in meeting new people and hearing about people's stories :)

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: any, though I only know english and slight french, arabic, spanish and japanese. I love languages though, so if you know english and any other language, i'd like postcards eventually in another language at some point!

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") food, porno, and that kinds of general stuff haha. i'm only expecting emails at first, so this shouldn't be an issue.

What would be in your dream letter or package?:  interesting stories, pictures of places, music and book recs, anything :D

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm in my second year of college studying sociology/gender studies and journalism with a minor in japanese. I love reading and writing and meeting new people in general. I currently live outside of chicago, but I'm hoping to transfer into the actual city to finish school or to a different state completely. I also want to study abroad in japan for a while, and maybe somewhere in europe too if I can! I've been to a bunch of states, but the only other country i've been to is egypt, but I am going to canada and mexico this year. I'm a huge bookworm- my favorites being murder mysteries and biographies which explains my love about hearing people's lives haha. I collect vinyl records and other vintage things, i've been a runner for some time now, and I'm currently taking up music lessons. voila!
