how do you identify?: lesbian.
interests/hobbies: sleeping (does that make me lazy? i'm totally okay if that makes me lazy), sarcasm, writing, rugby, discovering new music, phone conversations, people watching, airports, thunderstorms, quiet mornings, taking walks, bookstores, cuddling, fanfic.
favourite books: looking for alaska, paper towns, anything by john green. and harry potter. i don't read as often as i'd like, my parents don't value books but it's on my bucket list to spend a rainy day in a bookstore until it closes(:
favourite films: cruel intentions, imagine me & you, 10 things i hate about you, saving face, wall-e, pretty in pink, the breakfast club.
favourite TV shows: uhh. boy meets world. and glee. i'm such a gleek, it's kind of sad. you can stop reading now if that's too much of a deal breaker :P
favourite music: oh, jeez. okay, uh, this is hard. you can go through my itunes shuffle and go from anberlin to frank sinatra to eminem to jack johnson to the beach boys to florence and the machine. I'm guilty of a few taylor swift songs and mainstream music. i'm also guilty of really obscure, alternative/indie sounds i'd be glad to share with you(':
what would you like to send/receive?: e-mail. i'm in a living situation with parents that know i'm gay but definitely aren't rushing to sign up to PFLAG anytime soon.
who would you like to send and receive mail from?: oh, anyone. (:
what countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: anywhere! i won't say i won't be highly interested if you're from new york or somewhere in the uk, though.
anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: uhh, legitimate mail. for now. and i'm still a minor, too, so keep that in mind :P
what would be in your dream letter or package?: in an e-mail, a long response that can read like a journal and a response to whatever i've written all in one. snark. underlying friendliness is a winner. in a package, a mix CD would make my day.
anything else you'd like to add?: i'm just a kid with an affinity for sarcasm and slightly violent contact sports when i'm not geeking over literature. let's be friends? let's webcam :D

Date: 2010-12-26 01:16 pm (UTC)i'm not sure if being a rabid (well, not really, but almost) gleek is a deal-breaker for you, but if it isn't maybe you'd like to be email pals? :P aside from glee, our interests overlap so much it's crazy (the music library that covers almost all parts of the audible spectrum, literature and writing, thunderstorms and airports, snark, harry potter, and everything else, really).
this comment is probably bordering on disturbingly enthusiastic right now but it really would be awesome if you dropped a line. :) i will be awkwardly honest here and say that it'd be nice to make a friend who can't hit me over the head whenever i try for geekiness or sarcasm.
