Location: Connecticut, home of golf, snow and boredom. Also an awesome place to buy used books.
How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) I'm a bisexual female though I lean more towards dating girls. I've been dancing in singleville for a while now.
Interests/hobbies: Writing, reading, sleeping, swimming, collecting various things such as: liquor bottles, Hello Kitty stuff, Stars Wars stuff, action figures (spike, Doctor Who, Watchmen), comic books, candles, and pens and pencils.
Favourite books: Dresden Files (Jim Butcher), Sookie Stackhouse series (Charlaine Harris), Mrs. Dalloway (Virginia Woolf), The Hours (Michael Cunningham), anything by Stephen King (I'm a Stephen King whore). I mostly read science fiction and horror, but I have been known to branch out. I'm not a big fan of romance novels. Including a certain Mormon romance series that shall not be named.
Favourite films: I love cheesy horror films. The worst and silly awful, the better.Plus bad movies equal rifftrax. I'm a Star Wars nerd as well. A couple of faves include Fight Club, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Watchmen, Sherlock Holmes.
Favourite music: I love all kinds of music. It'd be quicker to list things I don't like. Death/Screamo metal (with a couple exceptions), and hardcore rap. If its got a good beat, I'll probably listen to it, even if the lyrics are shit. My favorite artist is, by far, Meat Loaf.
What would you like to send/receive?: Letters if fine. Right now, money is a bit tight (I haven't found a job and I had to quit college for awhile.) so sending packages would be a bit difficult.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: A British red head would be nice. Just kidding. I don't care. Anybody who's willing to talk to a nerd I guess.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Well, the U.S. would be easier, but I do love those brits! And other countries.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") If anyone sends me food, please no peanut butter. I'm allergic.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Dream letter? GLITTER!!!!!!!!!!! Dream Package? Brownies and booze. Just kidding, again.
Anything else you'd like to add?: Um, I'm not entirely sure what else to add. I've lived in Connecticut most of my life. I was supposed to go to University this fall, but money became a serious issue and I can't go. So now I have to wait a year and see if I can get a job and a loan. I want to get a degree English and work at a publishing house. Have a house in the woods with a few dogs and a few ferrets.
