Location: Tucson AZ
How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender)
Sexuality, queer. Lately I generally fancy androgynous types and am happily domestic partnered with a very sweet genderqueer transboi. Gender is some sort of andro/gq/female amalgamation... I'll just put down queer there as well. Yay big rainbow umbrellas.
Interests/hobbies:
Drag kinging, costuming, reading, collecting and preparing prancy teas, doing art, yoga, sometimes cooking, and of course, writing letters.
Favourite books: Lord of the Rings, Dangerous Angels, The Magicians, The Sandman and pretty much everything else Niel Gaiman ever touched, House of Leaves, assorted Kate Bornstien projects. And I like pretty cookbooks.
Favourite films: Short Bus, Rocky Horror, Repo!, Princess Bride
Favourite music: Kimya Dawson, Sigur Ros, Massive Attack, Mika, Coyote Grace
What would you like to send/receive? Letters! I love long letters. And handmade stuff. And mix cds. Acquiring new LJ friends is nice too.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Pretty much anybody, especially partners of trans people, gender benders, people with big dreams, drag performers, artists, happy people, adventurers, writers... and anyone else who feels like it :) I would also really love to hear stories from queer people who have children, as I am starting to give serious consideration to the family I'd like to have.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Sorry, I spent all my money on glitter and grad school, so I can't send packages internationally. I can probably manage letters though, and e-mail is a definite yes. In the U.S., I can do letters and small packages.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts")
Items with artificial scents, and nasty stuff generally. And nothing that could melt. Tucson is in the desert. It is HOT.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: An interesting letter, and an item that was made or picked out just for me. :)
Anything else you'd like to add?: Yay spotlight! What a cool community. Also, I am a reliable correspondent- if you're expecting something from me and it's not arriving, let me know please :)
