Jul. 22nd, 2011 03:34 amName: Kimberly
Age: 17 (18 in September)
Location: Florida Panhandle
How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) Pansexual/Female, but only just.
Interests/hobbies: Singing, reading, writing, linguistics, Starkid, Glee (by extension of Starkid. The things I do for you, Darren Criss. I've grown fond of it, though. And Chris Colfer is fantastic.), Minecraft, watching other people play video games - because I suck at them
Favourite books: Harry Potter (been reading them since I was seven!), The Tales of Beedle the Bard (my favorite is "The Fountain of Fair Fortune"), the Abarat series by Clive Barker, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking-Glass, Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, Jane Eyre, 1984, among others.
Favourite films: anything that Jim Carrey or John Cusack have ever stepped foot in, the HP films, Disney films. In a more general sense, I like horrors and comedies.
Favourite music: Anything that's not screaming at me and has some kind of substance to it. I'm not a fan of country either, because most of the songs all sound the same to me. Otherwise, my tastes range from My Chemical Romance, to Weird Al, to wizard rock, to Vanessa Carlton, to musicals, to Imogen Heap, to Nelly, to Bo Burnham.
What would you like to send/receive?: I can't guarantee that I would be able to keep up with snail mail, though I'd like to give it a shot. If not, there's always email.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Somebody around my age, I think, though I've been known to have meaningful conversations with folks older than me. So maybe 15 - 25 years old or so? It doesn't really matter, as long as you don't hold your age over me.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Doesn't matter, as long as you write in legible - and preferably grammatical - English.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Things that will maim and/or seriously injure me, blow up my house, or get me in trouble with the FBI. Also, I'm not a very artistic person, so as long as you don't expect something creative in response to something creative you may have sent me, then I don't really care.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: If ever anyone wanted to pass along books to me, I would love that. I have books that I can pass along too. As for in a letter, just something really frank and honest. I like things to be upfront. If we were to get along really well, my dream letter would probably be a love letter or at the very least mild flirting.
Anything else you'd like to add?: It'd be much appreciated if you didn't end up coming to my house and killing me in my sleep. Thanks.
Picture (optional): I was going post a picture, but I can't seem to find a decent one. :(
