Hi. I'm not actually new to this community, but I don't think I ever managed to post an introduction, so. Hi!

How do you identify?: Bi, female (female-bodied as well).
Interests/hobbies: Music, writing, sketching badly, knitting, taking long walks, visiting museums, France, French culture / music / films, films in general, nature.

I mostly consider myself to be a writer and an explorer. I like to conduct random experiments and dance spontaneously. I'm working to improve my understanding of math, and I want to be a historian (in the long term). Pretty much though I'm open to anything, and I'm interested in meeting new people.
Favourite books: My list of favorite books is generally dependent on my mood and memory. So, this list is not definitive! Mostly I enjoy science fiction / steampunk / fantasy, nonfiction books about history / history of science / astronomy, and lots of literary fiction like Faulkner. As an example, I just finished Good Omens by Neil Gaiman, and now I'm reading A Farewell to Arms.
Favourite films: Star Wars. Dead Poets Society. Star Trek (new one). The Dark Knight. Sherlock Holmes. Inception. 500 Days of Summer. An Education. Fight Club. I tend to like "good movies" but my definition of "good movie" oscillates widely from The Graduate to Halloween H20.
Favourite music: Brand New, Lady Gaga, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Juliette Greco, bad pop music.
What would you like to send/receive?: I'd like to exchange letters, random stories, etc. My letters tend to be very stream-of-conscious, and I'm told that I have terrible handwriting. I mostly just want to know that there are people out there who are like me, since I don't actually have that many "queer" friends.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone who is interested! I can write my letters in French or English, if people have a preference.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: I can send to anywhere! As long as I can get to the post to send it off.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Please don't send food, or anything that I haven't explicitly asked for. I mostly just want to have conversations with people, but people seem to interpret this as "I mostly want to have sex with people" which is not how I am interpreting this at all. Jsyk.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: I guess just stories about your day, your thoughts on things, just getting to know people and talking about things that interest us.
Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm not looking to start a romantic relationship with anyone. I don't know if this needs to be said, but I've seen it mentioned a few times, and so I thought I'd add it just to be safe. <333 And if anyone doesn't want to pay for stamps, or just wants to be e-mail penpals. I'm totally up for that! Just comment. I really just want to talk to people about ~life because I feel as though I'm kind of drifting and making new friends is hard when your friends are halfway across the country, etc.
