About me: I'm a 20 year old pansexual, bi-racial, paraplegic. I only vaguely know what I want to do with my life, but I figure there's time? Or at least that's what I tell myself. I read a lot (my personal best is 2 books in 5 hours) and I'm currently writing a book. I may be addicted to tumblr and I have a tendency to fall in love with fictional characters as easy as I breathe. It's terrible, really.
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, writing, tumblr, music, laughing, singing, cupcakes, food, being lazy (does that count? it should totally count), sleeping, paint-by-numbers, spoken word, swearing, sarcasm, dancers on YouTube.
Music: Adele, Beyoncé, Bring Me The Horizon, Demi Lovato, Drake, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Jay Z, Lights, Lil Wayne, Mayday Parade, Nicki Minaj, *Nsync, Panic At the Disco, The Piano Guys, Tchaikovsky, The Temptations, Travie McCoy, Tyga, Vitamin String Quartet, 2Cellos (+ more).
Books: [My Ultimate Favorites, in no order] Go Ask Alice, Speak, Thirteen Reasons Why, Because I Am Furniture, The Diary of A Young Girl, Identical, B (although, this is more a spoken word piece turned book. still, it's good stuff), How They Met, and Other Stories, The Lovers Dictionary: A Novel, Promise Not to Tell, Island of Lost Girls, Lolita, A Child Called "It", Bridge to Terabithia, Keeping You a Secret, My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, Vanishing Acts, The Pact: A Love Story, Plain Truth (pretty much everything from Jodi Picoult, seriously. She is amazing), The Lovely Bones, It's Kind of A Funny Story (RIP Ned).
Movies: Lolita (the older version), Alice in Wonderland (the original), The Little Mermaid, It's Kind of A Funny Story, Taken, Takers, Charlie St. Cloud, Step Up 1-4, Save the Last Dance, Brokeback Mountain, Blue Valentine, Grease.
TV Shows: Teen Wolf (yes, there are MAJOR issues with this show, but seriously, it's ruined my life), The Mentalist, Skins UK, Shameless US, OITNB (just finished season 2 and am already needing season 3 like I need to breathe), Suits, Chicago Fire, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU.
How many penpals do you have?: As of right now, none. But I've done this before.
How many do you want?: One of each would be cool.
Do you want email penpals?: Yes (for out of the country friends. Or ones in the country, too.)
Do you want snail mail penpals?: Yes. (I'm just running low on stamps, right now. You'll have to be a little flexible with me if I can't reply as quickly as I want, or if I have to reply via email or something. God, I hope that doesn't sound too bad?) I do have a TON of cards though, that I can send. Seriously. Tons.
How long are your letters?: 2 pages usually. Maybe more, maybe less.
How long does it take you to reply to a letter?: I usually reply the same day I get them, but like I said, I'm running a little low on stamps and with the wheelchair thing, I don't know how quickly I can get them again.
Would you like your penpal to be male or female?: I've never had a male penpal, but I'm willing to try, I suppose, even though I prefer female.
Age of penpal: 18+
What are you looking for in a penpal?: Someone to listen, someone who asks questions, someone who cares, someone who wants to know who I am/what I'm about. Someone who can be a little sassy/sarcastic, because I know I am. Someone who doesn't mind swearing -- I can cut it down some, but I might slip up. I'm just used to it.
Where would you like your penpal to be from?: Anywhere! (But if you are out of the country, I would prefer it if you used the email option. Please and thank you. :)
