How do you identify?: I'm a bisexual female, but gender isn't something that I'm terribly aware of, generally speaking.
Interests/hobbies:
Let's see...reading, writing, video games, Japanese language/culture, music, website design and development, spending time with friends, watching my hamster.
favorite books:
I tend to gravitate more toward sci-fi/fantasy, but I'll give anything a shot. Stephen King, Rob Thurman, George R. R. Martin, and Mark Danielewski are some of my favorite authors. Favorite books include The Tao of Pooh, On Being Gay, Memnoch the Devil, Alice in Wonderland, the Dark Tower series, Dune, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
Favorite films:
The Cowboys, Hot Fuzz, The Fifth Element, Practical Magic, Boondock Saints, Tombstone, Fight Club. I'm a big fan of Takashi Miike, Tim Burton, Hayao Miyazaki, and Guillermo Del Toro.
Favorite music:
I listen to a really random mix of things. I like The White Stripes, Eminem, The Academy Is..., Paramore, Beethoven, Mozart, Kerli, Slipknot, Bryan Adams, Blue October, Miyavi, Big Bang.
What would you like to send/receive?
E-mail, IM, or snail-mail is fine. I actually can't remember the last time I wrote a letter...
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?
People who can find the humorous in most anything, I guess.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?
I would like to send or receive mail from any country. I'm only fluent in English, but I'm very good with Japanese, have a good handle on French, and I'm okay with Spanish. Be warned, though: if it's in another language, my way of writing will more than likely resemble a very polite, formal child. (:
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?
Um...Nothing X-rated. No drugs, firearms, body parts, living creatures or bodily fluids. I hope that covers everything... >.>
What would be in your dream letter or package?
I can safely say that I've never really thought about something like that. I had a pen-pal when I was in high school that always sent me really long letters about their thoughts and feelings, their dreams for the future. Every now and again, they sent me pictures they drew. I guess that would be my 'dream letter or package.'
