Name: William; most call me Billy.

Age: 21

Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia.

How do you identify?: Queer transman.

Status: Committed relationship; engaged.

Interests/hobbies: Well, I'm a nerd and geek sort of awkwardly mushed into one ball. I love to read, write, draw, play video games and cook; recently I've begun repairing and modifying electronics and sculpting. Very avid about fitness, too. I like photography, animals, and staying active; any kind of music at all. Favourites are The Andrews Sisters, Tom Waits, Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Bowie, Enigma, Gogol Bordello, and Rammstein.

Favourite books: She's Come Undone, White Oleander, Precious (I see a theme here), Watchmen, Slaughterhouse Five, Childhood's End, Revolution for the Hell of It, Catch 22

Favourite films: Mulholland Drive, any and all of the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street series; Near Dark, Fright Night, Thirteen, Frida, The Devil's Backbone.

Favourite music: Oh, god, see above. We'd be here allllllllllllll night

What would you like to send/receive?: Anything! Letters, recipes, photos, little gifts (hand-made, preferably).

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Someone with a similar broad spectrum of interests, or even someone completely different, to keep it interesting.

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: I'd like to say anywhere, but postage would eat my bank account, so at this point, probably Canada and the US.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: As long as it's not a beating heart in a box, we're cool.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A knitted scarf, or homemade preserves, for a package - dumb stuff like that (lol small town boy). As for a letter, one that's volumes long with plenty to say.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I have pretty strong opinions, though I don't feel any pressing need to shove them down anyone's throat, they're there, and they're intense. I have worked in the sex industry for three years and I still am very connected to it politically and through my network of friends, and this colours a lot of my experiences and aforementioned opinions. Just a heads up!
