How do you identify?: Female and queer :) I usually say I'm bisexual, but I guess pansexual would be a more adequate name, I just like boys and girls and especially girly boys and boyish girls!
Interests/hobbies: I'm an English student and hopeless Anglophile so anything having to do with the wonderful United Kingdom. Music is the most important thing in the world to me, so going to gigs, listening to music and obsessing over artists in online fandom are amongst my favourite activities, and I'm the 'manager' for the amazing band my brother plays bass in. I'm also very crafty and creative and quite a skilled seamstress (I used to be in fashion school) so I make a lot of clothes and bags and dolls and I knit/crochet. I love the 60s and 70s, the music, the fashion, the culture... I was definitely born a few decades too late! I love dressing up and I guess my sense of fashion is pretty out there, I attempt to dress like Vince Noir of Mighty Boosh meets Marc Bolan meets Adam Lambert meets Jimmy Page with some skirts thrown in :D I also love to write, I hope I'll get to publish a novel at some point in my life :) I'm a sucker for beautiful things, colours and glitters. And I talk about gay rights a lot, homophobia pisses me off like woah.
Favourite books: The obligatory English literature, I love Jane Austin and the Bronte sisters and Oscar Wilde especially ♥ I also love reading (auto)biographies from rockstars, and I adooore Pamela des Barres books about her life as a groupie. I also like a lot of Dutch literature that most of you won't know (Jan Wolkers, Gerard Reve, Herman Brusselmans) And of course Harry Potter!
Favourite films: Almost Famous, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Velvet Goldmine, Chocolat, Edward Scissorhands, School of rock, Nightmare before Christmas, This is Spinal Tap, Moulin Rouge, Alice in Wonderland, Brokeback Mountain, Benny & Joon, The Commitments, Oh brother where art thou, Sweeney Todd, Born to Boogie, The song remains the same, The Shining, Tommy... basically anything having to do with music, anything psychedelic and anything by Tim Burton!
Favourite music: I'm very passionate about music and talk about it A LOT and I can't help but divide my favourites it into categories and lists (I'm like those lads in High Fidelity) but I'll just start, I loooove classic rock like Led Zeppelin, The Who, T.rex, The Sweet, Deep Purple, Bowie, Queen, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Slade, CCR, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Guns n Roses and so on... I loooove The Darkness and they mean a LOT to me. Also: Stone Gods, The Answer, Airbourne, Heavens Basement, Hot Leg, HIM, Paolo Nutini, Mika, Scissor Sisters, Steel Panther, The Ark, Negative, Jann Wilde... and last but not least I've been WAY obsessed with Adam Lambert lately, I adore him and think he's an absolute genius.
What would you like to send/receive?: I would love to do handwritten letters with weird little drawings and random cut-outs from magazines and such, and the occasional tiny present
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone with who I share some interests, especially if you like (some of) the same music! As long as you speak English it's all cool
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere!
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Well let's just say nothing that could get you arrested?
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Like I said a handwritten letter just telling me about your life and passions, with some weird, interesting things and small presents!
