How do you identify?: I prefer women but I don't really like labels. They feel too restricting.
Interests/hobbies: I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music. I play guitar / piano but get really shy / nervous if I know someone is listening. I love green tea with citrus. I like walking in the woods and along train tracks. I adore going to the beach even though I am deathly pale and never tan, only burn. Also, CT beaches are terrible so I usually drive to RI when I want to go. I love long car rides and going to shows. I live for warm summer nights and drinking cold beer by a bonfire. I love kissing in the rain. I love motorcycles. I don't have one because I don't think that my mom would be able to deal with it but my best friend's boyfriend let's me ride his. I play ultimate frisbee and like to do a lot of volunteer work. I enjoy many other things but I feel like I'm starting to ramble.
Favourite books: A Million Little Pieces, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, All That You Loved Will Be Carried Away, As Simple As Snow, The Book Thief, But Inside I'm Screaming, Catalyst, Catcher in the Rye, Dialogues of the Dead, Dracula, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Everything's Eventual, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (trilogy), The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter (series), Heroin Diaries, The Hunger Games, The Kite Runner, Like the Red Panda, The Lovely Bones, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Perfect Match The Power of One, Pure Sunshine, Running with Scissors, Speak, Still Alice, Through the Looking Glass, The Watcher, and What is the What. There's more but I think that's good enough for now.
Favourite films: Most Disney movies, Many musicals made into movies, Airplane, Alice in Wonderland, Benny and Joon, Boondock Saints, The Breakfast Club, The Dead Poet's Society, Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, Empire Records, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Hotel Rwanda, Juno, Love Actually, Mean Girls, Misery, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Nightmare on Elm Street (original), The Notebook, Office Space, Pretty in Pink, Say Anything, Scream (trilogy, mostly for laughs), The Shining, Silent Hill, Sixteen Candles, Stand by Me, Thirteen, Underworld (trilogy), V for Vendetta, Walk the Line, X-men: The Last Stand (favorite one!)
Favourite music: I listen to pretty much anything. My last.fm says that I listen to a lot of Tegan and Sara, The Beatles, Imogen Heap, Metric, and Peter Bjorn and John. And lately I cannot get enough of Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, Lykke Li, Future Islands, Angus and Julia Stone, The Temper Trap, David Bowie, Grizzly Bear, and The xx, but if something sounds good, I'll listen to it.
What would you like to send/receive?: Handwritten letters and postcards would be lovely. Also, some pictures and art.
Who would you like to send and receive mail fromm?: Anyone really.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: It doesn't really matter. I'd just like to receive mail that isn't junk and bills.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: I would not like to receive body parts or explosives. I would rather not get food unless it was talked about before. I also would rather not get anything pornographic.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: I don't know. I like the surprise element.

Date: 2010-06-24 12:43 am (UTC)i like the types of books you read and the music. perks of being a wallflower is seriously depressing, i read it in a fragmented manner because i couldn't take a huge chunk of sadness in one go. the audiobook is worse than reading the book itself. it's like he's telling you his story and you can't do anything.
