i definitely think you should. it's something that grew on me after the whole faily versions of vampire movies coming out. adolescent teens, their angst and their fantasies, what has happened to the world.
it has a pretty simple story line, but it's the characters that had me straight from the start. how eli isn't a girl vampire trapped in her body, but she's so androgynous at times. and the blood. oh and she slept in a bath tub! i found that the most fascinating thing in the world.
