How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) Bisexual/Pansexual/Avoiding labels to annoy people who try to assign a stereotype to me.

Interests/hobbies: I love archery. Guitars are another love - I'm only a very basic guitar buff, but expanding my knowledge all the time. I love to dance, or just sit and listen to music (I'm not picky about it). I'm usually found at my laptop or scrambling/walking up a rocky hill somewhere. Swimming and reading, for obvious reasons. Theatre is a big part of my life, and I'm working towards stage management or sound/lightning technician for a career. Travelling, of course - I'm poor and usually running off on budget holidays whenever I can scrape together the cash. My favourite holiday so far has been to Sorrento in Italy, although I did spend two months working in Holland as well. I'm a gamer, preferring RPG or straight shoot-em-up; my current obsession is Fable 2, and Dragon Age origins. I also like lying on grass somewhere and staring up at the sky.

Favourite books: Anything by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Bloomability by Sharon Creech, the Merde series, most of Bill Bryson's travel stuff. I want to write like Neil Gaiman someday.

Favourite films: Frida, Inglourious Basterds,Kinky Boots, 7 Years in Tibet, most musicals. I sing loudly to them and without shame.

Favourite music:I don't have a favourite genre as such - I listen to a lot of rock though. Top three bands - Muse, R.E.M., Scissor Sisters. I can listen to music from all genres, with the exception of certain types of metal and Neil Diamond.

What would you like to send/receive?: Messages to/from people who like to talk rubbish and have a giggle together :)

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") Anything with nuts in. Not an allergy, I just don't like them very much.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A friendly letter and a Wacom tablet, but that's just dreams :) Realistically, Martin guitar strings, picks, a capo, or anything to do with guitars really.

Anything else you'd like to add?: Mostly I'm looking to find pen/livejournal pals to chat with :)

I'm actually in Aberystwyth, and I am dividing my time between the least stressful job ever (bar-tending for permanently drunk Welsh builders) and chilling in the sun. Will add you momentarily :)

I have this theory that people named Alex (or the variant spellings) are just inherently cool/interesting. REM, Scissor Sisters, Kinky Boots.... Nice. Friends? E-mail or regular mail is good, too.
