Date: 2010-06-24 08:11 pm (UTC)I trust you've seen season 5.
What were your impressions of it?
I haven't because my LAME directTV service doesn't include the CW. I've got to wait until it comes out on DVD. Which isn't a bad thing because I'll just have a marathon with my bestie.

Date: 2010-06-24 08:17 pm (UTC)I get a lot of weird looks when i try to crack a joke, dry and sarcastic have been used to describe my sense of humor by others, don't think anyone's ever called it British though, which now that i realize that kinda shocks me.

Date: 2010-06-24 08:35 pm (UTC)I think CW should be standard on basic cable, without the restrictions. Why is that anyway? I had it down where I used to live.
I could get it here, but I wouldn't be able to justify the cost to get the channel turned on here. I'd watch SPN and 'ANTM' (my guilty pleasure) and that would be it.
I grew up watching a lot of British television and I think that's where I got it from.

Date: 2010-06-24 09:16 pm (UTC)For me it would be SPN and the vampire diaries (i got a thing for vamps) but i cant even justify basic cable right now other wise i would have the CW cuz I'd have all the boston stations.
I didn't grow up watching a lot of British tv but I did watch some. I just watched a little of everything, I'm weird and I'm ok with that. I loved seaquest, renegade, mama's family, and i think there were a few others you had listed that i was like wow someone else watched these besides me!!!!

Date: 2010-06-25 03:38 am (UTC)Oh. My. God. SEA QUEST?!?!?!?!
I absolutely LOVE that show. I have every episode on VHS and the first two seasons on DVD (because they are lame and wont release season three) No one around any more knows what Sea Quest is.
And you get bonus points for Renegade. I had the hugest most embarrassing crush on Reno. I recently found season one on DVD and was totally geeked.
I also dig Mammas Family. They need to air it more often. I haven't seen it on in YEARS. A tidbit of trivia- the woman who played Vintons wife, Naomi played Rebas mother on 'Reba'. I totally play six degrees of separation constantly.
And that may be the most darling picture of Cas/Misha I have ever seen.

Date: 2010-06-25 06:59 am (UTC)I had a poster of jonathan brandis the troubled genius kid on DSV, and i loved the dolphin even if it wasnt real lol.
The language officer on seaQuest was played by ted raimi, brother to the director sam and has been in almost every movie sam has ever directed including all three spiderman's and was on xena: warrior princess. i love six degrees of separation and i can just about get anyone back to kevin bacon too altho not always in six and sometimes bend the rules to use tv shows and tv movies lol or in my case school.
I had a huge crush on Reno too but i think i may have had a bigger crush on his bike.

Date: 2010-06-25 05:17 pm (UTC)And I am a HUGE Raimi fan. HUGE. I'll watch anything either Ted or Sam have done. They're from Pontiac, Michigan and I grew up like... ten minutes from there. It always made me feel awesome when Ted wore a Detroit shirt on Sea Quest.
My friend at the time the show was huge HATED it, but she still found a sea quest hat for me. Its totally falling apart now because I wore it so much, but I still have it.
At the time I never realized how cheesy Renegade was.
"I'm gonna hit you again. and Its going to be TWICE as hard as I hit before."
Who comes up with such lines?

Right now, I don't do anything. I help out with the family firewood business, but I don't have what you would call a paycheck. I'm constantly on the look out for work.

Date: 2010-06-27 05:10 pm (UTC)I have a bachelors in Psychology and another one in Sociology. I have no idea what I'm doing with them. I have ideas of what I WANT to do, but nothing currently. I'm slowly working through a GRE work book for psychology, but that's mostly to keep me from dying of boredom.
See, I'd love to do the set changes for theatre productions. Dressing all in black and running around in the dark. Yeah, I'm weird. I almost played in the pit for some musical they were doing, but I never got a call back.
Wow, Jerad Leto, that brings back the memories.

Dirty minds think alike!!!
So got fave movie, music, book, and tv show out of the way - what are your fave color, season, flower, smell, drink (alcoholic, non)?

Date: 2010-06-28 09:54 pm (UTC)Eventually? I'd like to work in a mental hospital or something like that. I think about having a private practice some day, but I really don't know yet.
Lets see. Blue and green, autumn, dandelion, fresh baked bread, and margaritas, diet dr pepper.
Same questions for you :)
Re: (reply to previous post)
Date: 2010-06-29 04:08 am (UTC)My favorite color is cerealan blue, its my favorite crayon color and I hardly ever use it because I want it to last as long as possible. If I could have a whole box of that color, I'd be geeked.
I like the fall because its a little chilly at night and its also the time of my favorite holiday.
Dandelions are cool because no one ever really looks twice at them. I think they're really pretty. I found one on my property that was waist high (I'm five six on a good day) and it made me smile.
I used to work at a bakery, and who doesn't love the smell of fresh baked bread?
I'm not really an alcohol drinker, but I like to have a margarita on my birthday and I also like rum and diet coke. My non alcoholic drink (drug) of choice is definitely diet dr pepper.
p.s.
that is a really cute elmo icon!

Date: 2010-06-29 02:41 pm (UTC)Cerealen blue is a very pretty color, my fave is purple - deep, dark purple, my netbook is purple, my pen today is purple, all the geeky, kitchy things i get at christmas are usually purple, if i could have a purple plymouth prowler i would!!!!
My favorite season is winter, I love the cold and the pure white snow, and the holiday lights and the holidays and my birthday.
flower is the carnation cuz its my birthflower and its pretty and it smells nice.
you're gonna think im really weird if you dont already but a favorite smell of mine is gasoline, i grew up in a garage, my dad was a mechanic and my uncle changed tires on tractor trailors and thats where i would spend my weekends engrossed in the smells of gas, oil, paint, acetone, rubber, metal, and dirt and i loved it, of course the pictures of nearly naked women and some naked women on the walls didnt hurt either lol.
Favorite alcoholic drink in a hurricane i dont drink much cuz of the zoloft, but once in awhile i'll add some irish cream to my cocoa. non alcoholic is chocolate milk, hot cocoa, or cherry coke.
so you mentioned your favorite holiday is in the fall, what is your favorite holiday???
and i would have understood your elmo/eeyore mix-up lol i probably would have had to think about it for a second but i would've figured it out.
