How do you identify?: Lesbian.

Interests/hobbies: Playing guitar, reading, drawing, video games, writing (though not as much anymore), just hanging out. I like to travel when I have the time and money for it, and it's usually with the intention of seeing a concert. I also shop a lot, specifically for shoes or CDs. Because, yes, I am one of those people who still buys CDs.

Favourite books: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Kushiel's Dart by Jaqueline Carey, Song of the Beast by Carol Berg, Thief With no Shadow by Emily Gee and The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. I mostly read fantasy novels, but also have a tendency to pick up those silly parody books that HMV sells (like Twitterature) or music-related stuff. I also love Shakespeare.

Favourite films: I used to be hardcore into horror, but lately I'm more on a drama swing. And I love foreign films. Anyway. Schindler's List, Sleepy Hollow, Imagine Me & You, The Lives of Others, Cruel Intentions, Pan's Labyrinth, Donnie Darko, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Se7en, Night Watch, FIX, Children of Men, King Arthur, Atonement, Apocalypto, The Death and Life of Bobby Z, Shakespeare in Love, Population 436, Century Hotel, Law-Abiding Citizen, Fantastic Mr. Fox, anddd Robin Hood (especially the Disney version, but also the new one).

Favourite music: Pretty much anything except country and rap. Notables include Tegan and Sara, Papa Roach, Oomph!, Sonic Syndicate, Uh Huh Her, An Horse, Indica, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Kamelot, The Donnas, Our Lady Peace, Raine Maida, Chantal Kreviazuk, The Kills, The Reason, Rammstein, Thornley, Stabilo, The Sounds, Domenica, Arctic Monkeys, Eminem, Katy Perry, Dragonette, The Birthday Massacre and, of course, Lady GaGa.

What would you like to send/receive?: Snail mail or e-mail. But getting letters is nice so I'd prefer that. Also mixed CD exchanges would brighten my life like no one's business.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone!

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Within Canada would be awesome because it's cheaper, but I'm like in love with Sweden and Germany, so people from there would be supremely awesome. And Finland. Anywhere in Europe, actually. Anywhere at all, now that I think about it.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Food, I guess. But otherwise there's not a thing I wouldn't like to receive.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A mixed CD! Or something really random. Randomness makes my life, no lies.

Anything else you'd like to add?: It takes a little while for me to open up, but it'll happen with just a bit of patience, I swear!
