Location: Charleston, SC, during the summer, and central PA while I’m in school: US
How do you identify? Female, and, eh, let’s go with asexual.
Interests/hobbies: Octopodes, writing, cooking, manga, video games, mostly JRPGs, (Final Fantasy series, Tales of the Abyss, The World Ends With You, and I’ve just discovered Persona 3). I’m pretty crafty as well; I sew, mostly, but I’ve dabbled in a lot of other things. My friends and I cosplay some, too. Oh! Also, I’m a classics major and fanatically devoted to that area of study.
Favourite books: I am truly embarrassing in my love of the Aeneid, as well as a lot of other classical literature (the Metamorphoses often causes me to twirl about my room in childish glee), but, in terms of quantity, I consume more manga: I read Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist (except it’s over now, alas), and a few others.
Favourite films: Oh man, I am more or less cinematically illiterate. The last thing I saw in theaters was The Princess and the Frog, and I thought that was pretty cute. Miyazaki movies are also an always good.
Favourite music: (I’m worse about music than I am about movies, so I think I’ll just skip this one)
What would you like to send/receive? Letters or postcards would be lovely, and I certainly wouldn’t say no to the occasional package of small, fun things.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from? Anyone who’s interested in talking to me.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to? Anywhere is fine, really!
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive? Nothing sexual or illegal, please, but I don’t have any allergies/peculiar aversions to anything.
What would be in your dream letter or package? I’d love to receive something distinctive from where you live—a photograph or a recipe, it certainly doesn’t have to be anything big.
Anything else you'd like to add? Uh, yay snail mail?
