Favourite films: Lord of the Rings trilogy, Back to the Future trilogy, old sci-fi movies from the fifties

Favourite music: Pretty much anything except metal, screaming artists, and music that has a lot of swearing in it

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A long letter and/or a story that someone has written

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm currently working on a novel, so someone to bounce ideas off of would be nice. Other than that, I'm just looking for a friend.

My novel is set in a fantasy world, where magic is extremely rare (at the present time, anyway). It follows the journeys of two brothers named Jasper and Yuoi as they try to find their place in life and deal with the events that happen to them along the way. That’s the ultra-short version, anyway. A longer explanation would take a while.

I haven't decided on an age range yet, but I'm thinking it'll be a more mature audience due to a few dark themes within the story (rape, mostly). I have about 97 pages written up in a Word document, so I have plenty to share!

Isn't Matt Smith lovely? Are you a Doctor Who fan too?

Massively. And not purely for Matt Smith-related reasons, although he makes the whole thing more enjoyable. I really like Moffat's fairy tale angle on this series, and he seems to be a cleverer plotter than Davies. I only hope he pulls it off this week.

As much as I liked some aspects of RTD's era, I must admit that Ten was really starting to get on my nerves by the end of the specials. But I'm really liking Moffat's take on the series, and I'm eager to see what he does in the finale. Due to having dial-up, I haven't seen episode 11 yet, but I plan on downloading it tomorrow.

So, what's your novel about? And since I forgot to answer this in my previous reply, I'd love to ping-pong story ideas with you!

Have you seen the latest Who ep yet?

My novel's about a girl called Gargoyle whose evil faerie stepmother steals her voice and chucks her out of the house. Naturally she's being hit on by the prince, and naturally the stepmother is pissed because she wants the prince for her own daughter, who is thinner, prettier, and more sparkly. Turns out the prince is a bit of a twat anyway. Modern gothic faerie tale style, and safely YA. Involves lots of silly costumes.
