Interests/hobbies: I try to dabble in a bit of everything: web design, drawing, reading, writing, hiking, camping. In short I love to be expressive and go outdoors.
Favourite books: The DaVinci Code, Prey, Harry Potters. Generally I read fantasy and sci-fi, but I'm completely open to suggestions! I need and want to read more >_>
Favourite films: Requiem for a Dream, Moulin Rouge, Running with Scissors, Amélie, Hard Candy, I ♥ Huckabees, RENT, The Devil Wears Prada, Mean Girls, Me and You and Everyone We Know.
Favourite music: I have always been an avid pop fan, (and probably always will be), but I'm into pretty much anything besides rap or country. Lady GaGa (obsessed), Florence + The Machine, Acceptance, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Maria Mena, Panic! At The Disco, No Doubt, Alanis Morissette, Alphabeat, Charlotte Sometimes, Lily Allen, The Veronicas, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, Paramore, The Postal Service, Imogen Heap, Kate Nash, P!nk. What would you like to send/receive?: E-mails would be great to start! Eventually I think letters and crafts/artworks/mix CDs would be fun, too :)

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere, but I can only speak English.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: A simple letter with silly doodles on the edges. I think a handwritten note from a friend is more meaningful and desirable than anything else. Of course I'm open to just about anything!
Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm a laid back, open minded person looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully making some friends in the LGBT (or not) world!

Date: 2010-06-28 10:08 am (UTC)The Devil Wears Prada was an awesome film. And I, too, love me some pop on occasion. I bought a Britney Spears CD (much to my husband's horror), and the kids make me play it nonstop. I'm going to have to buy a few more CDs just for some variety before I go crazy!
Fantasy and Sci Fi books...I could probably think of some. I really like Christopher Pike's The Last Vampire series, and the Twilight series (but I know that one isn't for everyone).
