Name: Kristin

Age: 24 (almost 25)

Location: San Francisco, Ca

How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) straight/female

Interests/hobbies: Fandom (huge fangirl here), reading (books and fan fiction), travel, theatre (I've seen Wicked four times and on a recent trip to NYC spent every night at the theatre), shopping, watching movies and tv shows, listening to music, and food (cooking it and eating it).

Favourite books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Number the Stars, Diary of Anne Frank, Too Deep for Tears, Between Mist and Midnight, The Harry Potter series, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, Little House series, John Grishman novels, and Danielle Steel novels.

Favourite films: Anything with Alan Rickman, Tom Hanks, or Meg Ryan. Anything by Pixar and most Disney movies. I *love* movies although I haven't seen many movies pre-1980s.

Favourite TV shows: Some current and former favorites: Southland, Chuck, The Closer, Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, The Good Wife, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Medium, Bones, Dead Like Me, Alias, Cold Case, Mercy, Psych, FlashForward, Modern Family, Pushing Daisies, and The West Wing.

Favourite music: I love country and most Top 40 songs and have a strong affinity for the music of the 1950s/60s. It isn't so much about the artist but about the song; I'm a fan of songs and if I find an artist with a lot of songs I like then that's awesome. Love Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Pink, Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, The Supremes, and some Bob Dylan.

What would you like to send/receive?: I have no clue, guess I'd have to think about it.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") No adult material or anything illegal.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: I just love mail (of any kind) but there is something special about snail mail.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm not a fan of Twilight. I was born and raised in Southern California in a Republican family who has no clue what to do with me. My major is American Studies but I have no clue what I want to do once I graduate. I love music, movies, and books. If I'm not reading or watching tv chances are I'm on the computer.

Picture (optional): Maybe later.

Reposting because I accidentally deleted my last post when editing it.

I love how many HP fen are here and posting. It feels like a big family hug, in the strange way that none of us actually know each other but feel connected anyway just because. :)

Our media tastes are so similar! I kept going down your lists and thinking "Yeah, yeah to that, yes, I know the feeing!" I'm a huge fan of 40's/50's music (big bang, swing and jazz have forever captured my heart) and I drive my friends nuts with my music collection - I only ever have one song from an artist, no matter how much I like it. You can always tell when I really love an artist, because I have more than three of their songs. I'm still crying over the loss of Pushing Daisies, love the geekery of Chuck, and can't get enough of Alan Rickman. Have you heard the clip of his recitation of Sonnet 130? I melt every time.
