How do you identify?: Female - lesbian.
Interests/hobbies: I love music, reading, traveling, concerts, learning new things, making new things (crocheting, knitting, screen printing-sort of, paper making, book binding), animals, drawing, and more but that can be covered in letters so I won't go on for days and days!
Favourite books: I love to read, and lately this past year since starting college, I basically stopped reading for pleasure, which killed me even if I didn't do anything for it really. However, I'm not making up for lost time! My all-time favorites include 1984, The Bermudez Triangle, Brave New World, and The Realm of Possibility.
Favourite films: I don't watch many movies, but I just got a Netflix subscription to change this. :) Recommendations are always welcome! I love Garden State, Alice in Wonderland, August Rush, Empire Records, and RENT.
Favourite music: I sold my soul to Tegan and Sara fandom. Not really, but I can't even begin to explain my love for them. Other favorites include Missy Higgins, Jimmy Eat World, Brandi Carlile, Brightwood, Holly Miranda, City and Colour, and Ingrid Michaelson.
What would you like to send/receive?: Letters for sure! That's what penpals are for, right? I can't afford to send many packages, but I typically send little packages around birthdays and holidays, and also love to swap mix cd's occasionally... new music makes me happy. :]
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone who shares similar interests, likes to learn new things, speaks English (it's all I know right now unfortunately.. I know minimal French, and am looking to improve that, so I'm also open to French speakers as long as they are very patient as right now I'm not even at the conversational level with it.), really anyone who is up for it!
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Anywhere and everywhere, as long as you speak English!
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") If it's legal, I'm up for it?
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Whatever you want to include. I won't be able to send many things very often beyond letters, so I'm not asking for anything beyond that! :)
Anything else you'd like to add?: I love snail mail, and haven't had penpals in a while so I'm excited about getting started back into it. :D Can't wait to hear from you!
