I love the book Memoirs of a Geisha. I read it in high school as part of some project and just found myself captivated.

OMG I know. It gets a lot of flack for being sexist, but people tend to forget that it's a very real culture that's still going on today. So when they're squee'ing over their favorite manga or anime, they obviously don't stop to think about the culture that comes from and that Japan is very sexist.

Either way, the world of the geisha is very captivating indeed! :D

I'm not actually vegan yet, but I've done a lot of reading about it, gearing up for when I'm on my own and can actually follow this lifestyle. Poor picky parents are poor and picky. :(
