Name: Alison
Age: 23
Location: Jacksonville, FL
How do you identify?: Lesbian, femme
Interests/hobbies: Art, reading, organizing, craft projects, movies, music, playing piano
Favourite books: Mostly nonfiction these days, because that’s the department I work in at the library: anything by Dan Savage, A.J. Jacobs, and Danny Wallace. Fiction: Sarah Waters novels, Misfortune: a Novel, by Wesley Stace, Confessions of a Pagan Nun and The Changeling: a Novel by Kate Horsley.
Favourite films: Guy Ritchie films, documentaries, a bit of this and that when in the mood. Basic rule of thumb: if the Brits are behind it, I’m watching it.
Favourite music: All sorts of nonsense. From Dion and the Bellmonts to Shakira, as long as it isn’t country I’m open to anything and everything, especially foreign music. Currently stuck on Edith Piaf, shallow but catchy radio drivel, and Cansei de ser Sexy
What would you like to send/receive?: I’m open to all ideas, creative or otherwise. I would love to simply write as many letters as possible, and trade doodles, sketches, cds, etc.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: I would prefer lesbians, otherwise there are no additional stipulations on my end.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Any that are willing to have correspondence; however, I can only read and write in English.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Surprise me…I love correspondence, and snail mail needs a revival, so I’m excited to begin.
Anything else you'd like to add?: I’m just your average college student scraping her way to a bachelor’s degree, working part time at the library, and looking for reasons outside of school and work to take a pen to paper!

It must be very cool working in a library, that's my dream job! Do you like it?
What's your favourite book os Sarah Waters? I've read the last one, and was a bit disappointed with it.
