How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) I'm a queer black chick. I'm attracted to anything as long as it's human.

Interests/hobbies: Surfing the internets, reading, talking about politics, debating

Favourite books: ANYTHING by Noam Chomsky. I don't really pay attention to titles but I don't read a lot of fiction. As for non fiction anything that pertains to sociology, society, activism and stuffs like that. If anybody can somehow hook me into fiction then go ahead! The only fiction I read or watch is historical fiction. But I like V for Vendetta and Watchmen

Favourite films: School Daze, When the Levees Broke, Malcolm X, Pootie Tang. I don't really have favorites, I watch A LOT of movies.

Favourite music: I don't really have favorite artists, I just listen to music. My music tastes range from pop to classical. I'm open to anything. Some of my fav genres are : Pop, Kpop, Rap/Hip Hop. I can give a few artists I like : Talib Kweli, Britney Spears, Radiohead, GD&TOP, Prince (huge fangirl fro Prince) and Gnarls Barkley

What would you like to send/receive?: I like to make mixtapes, zines, poems, and I can write in Chinese (just a beginner though lol). Also I can do the standard letter, sometimes a good letter can be JUST SUPER COOL. Or if you're good at any crafts then it would be cool to send me something like that.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Someone in the same age range from me 15-18. I want to be pen pals with someone who wants to keep a regular, fun and educative (does that even make sense lol) correspondence. I want someone who's political and passionate but a goofball at the same time. Also if you're good at arts and crafts that would be awesome toooo

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: I would like to stick in the U.S. for mail but anywhere is welcome for email.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") No food unless already discussed in correspondence. Use your common sense I guess. It really just depends on the situation *this was just a ramble*

What would be in your dream letter or package?: My dream package would be in some cute ass stationary like Hello Kitty and with a zine or mixtape. A letter with doodles or maybe a comic someone made would be awesome.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm agnostic but would love to hear from people into philosophy and theology. I've honestly been researching a lot about religions in India so I would love to discuss that. I'm EXTREMELY liberal. I'm a pro choice black feminist. I'm OBSESSED with Hello Kitty and fashion. I'm really sensitive and weird. I can crochet. I'm trying to learn the guitar but I'm lazy as hell. I'm also a vegetarian. I hope to meet some awesomesauce folk. Anybody who's into politics (Anarchism, Communism, Socialism things of that nature and societal stuff) should definitely come talk to me :D because I'm really into that stuff and would love to learn more. I'm also a very vulgar and TMI person lol. This post was really off, sowwy <3

We have so much in common! But I'm twice your age. heh I hope you find penpals closer to your age that share your interests. When I was 15, I felt like I was the only one in my age bracket that cared about politics and social justice issues. Then again, I was in small-town Texas. In Michigan, you'll probably have better luck than I did. ;)

Hey, you sound interesting :D I'm 17 (April 6th, woo!), I also try to play guitar, am vegetarian, and currently Communist Asia (China, Russia, etc.) is my topic of interest. We're covering Stalin at the moment in History, but... yeah. Anyway. XD

I'm 16, a vegetarian (considering veganism), a social activist, very tired because I woke up at 8 this morning to do some homework (a research paper on the problems facing public education in America), but interested in gettting to know you! That is, if you are interested, too. :)
My friends and I are working on starting up an underground literary zine in response to the censorship we've faced when we tried to write via our school paper, so we could talk about that. Or, really, anything you like. I hope this is coming out the way it sounds in my head. :)
