Date: 2010-06-22 12:50 am (UTC)I love most of the movies you listed. I love most movies, actually. I probably should have just said, "Any movie ever" in my profile hahaha.
I agree with the well-thought out letters. It's hard at first though, I find that whenever I first write letters they're 90 percent me rambling and 10 percent me doodling ugly cats.
It's nice when you can find something deep you connect on, though :3.

Date: 2010-06-22 02:00 am (UTC)Hey, we've got similar taste in films, then. :)
Ah, I find myself to be a bit selective about the films I watch. But it's cool that you're such a big fan. :)
& thanks, I think it's always better when you put some thought into what you're writing.
Yeah, it's definitely hard at first. I do something like that, too. Rambling and ugly cats can't be all that bad. :)

Date: 2010-06-22 02:05 am (UTC)"todais xmas you dont eat meeeeeeeeeeeeeeete"
Which the only entry I have in my only diary, hence the memorization.
I was a very intelligent and inspiring child.
I love all types of films! I love B films, foreign films, indie films, cartoon films, disney films.
Well the cartoon disney films...
I'm kind of lying. I don't like any romance films and slasher films.
I wish I could say I put a ton of thought into my comments, but on livejournal it's a lot easier to just type away.
When I write e-mails or actual letters I find myself proof-reading them though.
Like a mini-novel or something of the sorts. Novella.

Date: 2010-06-22 02:20 am (UTC)I remember having diaries throughout the years, when I was 5-10 years old, I think.
All I wrote in them was crap like, "hello today i got in trouble and [my brother] is stupid." And then I'd lose interest. No big loss.
I like all of those, too. It's a bit iffy on cartoon/Disney cartoon films, though. And I can definitely do without romance or slasher films. But I've got to admit I really do like horror. Psychological horror if I were to be precise. Especially foreign horror films. :)
I can imagine that it is. I wouldn't type walls of text just in a comment.
I proof-read everything I type... Back when I used to text I'd make sure everything was okay before sending it.
Little novels, exactly. I know what you mean. :)

Date: 2010-06-22 02:26 am (UTC)My best friends boyfriends name is Rudy, but my phone insists it's stew.
I don't re-read lj comments at all, so I'm sure this is full of grammatical errors and gibberish.
That's ok. It's adding personality. A lot of personality.
And come on! Without Disney childhood would be so much different. I kind of lumped Pixar with Disney there though.
I don't like that they keep making sequels to everything though. Sequels to sequels of sequels.
But, the originals, they were amazing. They defined my childhood.
Also some cartoon films can be groundbreaking, ever seen Grave of the Fireflies?
It's one of the most touching WWII flicks I've ever seen.
Foreign films are awesome as long as they're not redone. Back when they made The Ring and The Grudge I thought they were just stupid.
But, yeah, all english horror lately seems to make no sense.
Let the Right One In is supposed to be good. The swedish version, I mean.
I've only read the book and haven't seen the movie but my friend says it's amazing.
They're remaking it in English soon but I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it at all.

I tried watching that film but I'm not a vampire fan so I lost interest. /:

Date: 2010-06-22 01:07 am (UTC)Is it anything like journaling and then scanning it to your computer for the web?
I've seen a few people do something like that and it's always amazing to see into the mind of someone else. Especially in such a beautiful and creative way.

Date: 2010-06-22 02:50 am (UTC)I keep a lot of journals.
To the point of having over twenty of them, full of writing.
One day I decided to take excerpts from them and type them up.
I made a blog just for the ones that I picked out and to my knowledge, no one has ever read them.
I just told you a secret!
Dundundunnnnn.

Date: 2010-06-22 02:24 am (UTC)Reading some of your responses above - I have thought about doing that. Writing for myself entirely, by hand, then typing it. I don't pen by hand much at all anymore. There's something more raw about it.

I love getting a nice long letter from a penpal and writing back an equally long letter. It's always so satisfying.
