greetings and salutations
Jun. 21st, 2010 10:22 pmName: Chris
Age: 29
Location: Missouri
How do you identify?: Lesbian and genderqueer
Interests/hobbies: I cross-stitch video game characters. I play Magic and Munchkin and way too much Plants vs Zombies. I'm trying to get back into riding my bike. I used to play co-ed ice hockey until I almost broke my neck, now I play paintball. I coach a middle school robotics team. I want to go back to school to become a mechanical engineer.
Favourite books: Asimov's Robot series, Scalzi's Old Man's War series, Card's Ender's Game series (his personal politics are atrocious though), and I'm finally getting into the Dresden Files series
Favourite films: The Lord of the Rings trilogy; Shawshank Redemption; Fried Green Tomatoes; Tank Girl; the original three Star Wars; The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Sneakers; any and all Star Trek films
Favourite music: Sandi Thom, Styx, Boston, Catie Curtis, Rush, Tom Petty, and of course Jonathan Coulton
What would you like to send/receive?: I wouldn't mind sending a video game cross stitch to someone who would enjoy it. I always like finding surprises in the mail.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: I'm not particular.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: I will send just about anywhere but unfortunately I only speak English. I took Japanese in high school and have forgotten nearly all of it.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: nothing that would get me in trouble with my wife or that I wouldn't want the kids to see
What would be in your dream letter or package?: a deed to a house in Vermont with a job offer attached
Anything else you'd like to add?: My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. Also, I am a dork.
Picture: This was right before I left for a float trip on the Missouri River. I don't typically wear camo in public otherwise :o)

Date: 2010-06-23 07:51 pm (UTC)No, I'm not even close to beating it yet, I kind of get sidetracked with all of my games... but now they're piling so I need to get through them lol. I think I'm gonna get it on my ipod though, then I can continually work on it.

Date: 2010-06-23 09:59 pm (UTC)My second favorite would be Next Generation, after the first season. I am ashamed to admit I have not watched very many of the Original Series, but I've liked what I've seen and I really enjoy the original movies. I know next to nothing about Voyager (I watched a few of the first season episodes) and have never watched an episode of Enterprise.
