Location: memphis, tennessee (united states)
How do you identify?: (sexuality/gender) whatever i feel like on that specific day. i tend to be feminine, but i am heavily attracted to anything and everything androgynous.
Interests/hobbies: rappelling, canoeing, wildlife, wildflowers, raptors, rock climbing, swimming, reading/writing, weaving, pottery, jewelery, music, playing piano. i'm currently trying to get into the state park system, so i get to do cool things like handle birds and go canoeing and get paid for it. it's pretty sweet.
Favourite books: virginia woolf, kurt vonnegut, douglas adams, isaac asimov, megan mcafferty, milan kundera, thomas hardy, herman hesse, ursula k. le guin, frances burney, elizabeth smart, franz kafka, toni morrison, j.m. barrie, c.s. lewis.
Favourite films: the bicycle thief, the hours, a clockwork orange, 2001: a space odyssey, pulp fiction, sunshine cleaning, gigantic, sideways, metropolis, casablanca, transamerica, ...but i'm a cheerleader!
Favourite music: last.fm here. short list: devendra banhart, cocorosie, tegan and sara, crystal castles, the dodos, regina spektor, bon iver, iron & wine, patti smith, the beatles, margot & the nuclear so and so's, david bazan, rubik, mewithoutyou, phoenix, passion pit.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: i have no guidelines for who i should be, therefore no guidelines for who i should receive mail from. ;) just no serial killers, please.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: all of them.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts") anthrax, illegal drugs, small animals.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: a mix cd, a postcard, a drawing, an exotic flower, polaroids.

Date: 2010-06-22 08:52 pm (UTC)as far as tn: there's some wonderful places around chattanooga, but i prefer the south cumberland trail/fall creek falls area (pikeville, tennessee/manchester, tennessee). fall creek falls usually has rock climbing seminars and programs frequently. as i'm an advocate for the state park system, check them out here (http://www.state.tn.us/environment/parks/FallCreekFalls/index.shtml).
and of course i would like to chat. i'll be sending you an e-mail soon. :)
