How do you identify?: just a plain ol' lesbian.
Interests/hobbies: knitting, gardening, sitting by the river, kayaking, crossword puzzles, eating pasta and garlic, severe weather, language, travel
Favourite books: anything by d.h. lawrence, pat conroy, or thomas wolfe. i pretty much love really florid descriptions of nature and not a lot of dialogue.
Favourite films: the adrian lyne version of lolita, love actually, the holiday, and lots of documentaries and foreign films
Favourite music: anything with cellos, men with unearthly falsettos (think sigur ros), RADIOHEAD, and old school classic rock
What would you like to send/receive?: letters of the snail mail variety, postcard, photographs
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: someone dreamy and introverted and either terribly interesting or terribly romantic. travelers. i want someone who writes well, or can tell me a story, rather than someone who writes hi, my name is ______, i am ____ years old, my hobbies are _______ etc.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: the where doesn't matter, and international is a plus. jag kan svenska och kan förstår lite dansk och norsk, y puedo escribir en español
What would be in your dream letter or package?: little doodles or magazine clippings or handmade envelopes or paper. photographs, leaves, feathers. the minutiae of your day, the trees rather than the forest, anything small and beautiful, or silly things like what your cat ate for breakfast. i'd rather learn about the colors of your life than broad, sweeping generalizations.
Anything else you'd like to add?: i can write smashing letters, and it's about time i had a new penpal friend. i live in a house with 4 cats. i was 5 feet from an alligator when i went kayaking in a swamp this weekend. i will hold up my end of this bargain.
