How do you identify?: I call myself bisexual, but I think I'm starting prefer women, especially the "cool" type!

Interests/hobbies: I like reading and writing, especially as of late, and I've always enjoyed drawing! Video games are always nice, but I find myself enjoying being more active if I can, so I like going biking and swimming and other things outside (even though I sunburn easily...). I also like cooking and cleaning--maybe because I tend to be a little OCD--and shopping at thrift stores. And going out in the middle of the night and walking or driving around is the best! Oh, and I LOVE food! And unicorns and cute things!

Favourite books: I don't really have a favorite, because I can never decide...But I just finished Lolita and am reading Cryptonomicon. c:

Favourite films: Oh dear...I don't know, I like all movies!

Favourite music: I listen to all sorts of genres, but I think some of my favorite bands are The Killers, Two Door Cinema Club, Rise Against, Owl City, Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip, Hollywood Undead, Regina Spektor, Lily Allen and The Fratellis.

What would you like to send/receive?: Lovely handwritten letters, maybe some pictures...Anything interesting and fun! (Someone mentioned math problems...That would be awesome! I love me some math~.) 

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Oh, anybody! It would just be fun to meet people and share things~!

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Well, anywhere would be fine, but it would be nice to stay within the US.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Uhh, no nude pictures or anything, that would be great.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: A nice letter about what's new, with drawings, maybe some pictures...maybe even a little gift or something, like cookies!

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm absolutely frugal, which is both a good and bad thing at times...But I'm a really honest person who likes helping others and just talking to people, even if I am somewhat shy and nervous at times...! I'm really cheerful most of the time, and I'm just hoping to find some really interesting people to keep in touch with and develop a friendship with, maybe even become close with someone. C: I'm really agreeable, so don't be afraid to talk to me!

Well, thanks a lot! I checked out your journal, too, and you seem just as awesome! I think it's really great that you sing; I really appreciate people who can sing in front of others...I could never do anything like that~. Never have been able to get up in front of people and all that jazz.

It would be nice to be penpals with you! Either email or normal mail would be fine with me! However you wanna do it! I warn you, I may be writing on some extremely cutesy paper if we choose snailmail.

I used to sing a lot, I was choir leader at my school and stuff, but I had a bad bad experience at a concert and I haven't sung in front of anyone since then, years ago, like literally not at all, not even humming along to the radio in the car with someone else there. In the last year though I've begun to sing in front of my brother/parents and I wanna see if I can build up the courage to go for it at uni.

Wow, that sounds like a real story there...I like singing, and was even in choir for a year, and then I realized I'm terrified of crowds. But I really hope you can learn to sing in front of people again. That would be wonderful!! It must have been something awful that happened to keep you from even humming... :c

First off, your picture is adorable. It does not matter if you like it because it does not detract from the adorable. There should be a stamp that says "adorable" on it. Or next to it so as not to block the adorable.

Not a lot of people have read Lolita, I find, and I get an awful lot of grief, for the content of it...Or rather, the premise.

Yeah. Lolita. Alas, but that does not detract from the fact that it's a good piece of literature. Honestly, some people are just too stuffy and... and puritan for their own good. Not that religion is bad, per say, but people really do take it too far.

And ohmygoodness, I do have a lot to say. I'm kind of ridiculous. Sometimes, I should just [insert foot in mouth]. You know? But I never realise until after the fact.

Indeed! It's a classic; it should be read! And I know what you mean about religion...I personally don't think of myself as part of a religion--and I'm fine with those who are religious--but open-mindedness is just something that isn't really prevalent in a lot of very religious people, sadly.

And that's fine, having a lot to say! As a matter of fact, I find that it makes you easier to talk to! And besides that, it's nice to have more substance in things. I kind of wish I was able to ramble, but I have to be in the right mood for it, you know?

I totally get you. I have to be in the wrong mood to not babble, but I hear you about that. And sometimes if I'm uncomfortable around new people, which is sooooo rare, I will be quiet. That's like, the ultimate way of knowing I'm uncomfortable or unhappy. Or tired. Sometimes I will do actually shut up. haha. But mostly, I just talk. Which does make for good conversation. haha.

And I agree so much. I think that's the flaw with religion. It lacks open-mindedness. Well, Buddhism and Paganism not so much. Most nature religions are pretty much awesome. And celestial religions don't seem to be all 'fire and brimstone' But more than that, it's the people using the religion--or rather, misusing it--that make it so bad.

Yeah, normally I'm awfully shy when meeting new people, but I'm trying to come out of my shell, especially since I need the confidence for job interviews, none of which I've been able to land. XD
It's so good to see people out there like yourself who are really talkative and friendly!

Although, I find that for the most part people judge religions based on the most extremist actions of those in the group...So that makes things a little more complicated. I try not to judge things before I've been well-educated on the subject, but yes, to me, most religious groups are, on the whole, not as open to new experiences.

Yup, yup. Totally agree about religion. It is the actions of the crazy few that we focus on. Of course, it's always good to know the doctrine before you pass judgment. I have a friend who is a devout Catholic, but she's totally awesome and not crazy and actually listens to what is said and gets sooooo mad when people abuse religion the way they do.

You could try a temp agency? I'm doing that for the summer until I move to MA. Of course, I might continue temping until I find something there. -nods- And coming out of shells is good! That's why I like being so friendly and open. I think it makes people feel more comfortable or something.

Well, that's so good of your friend! That's just the kind of religious person that I respect! As long as people are open to things and follow some sense of morality and fairness, then generally they aren't too bad. I just can't stand people who try to convert others to their religion. How rude!

And I agree, being friendly and out there helps a lot in getting people to be themselves. C: It's why I have quite a few rambunctious friends!
