About Me: I study Drama and Literature at University, and I work in a tea store. I’m not an activist, and I don’t feel being gay defines who I am, its merely a facet of my personality. My dream is to own a house with a bay window and sit on it when it rains.
Interests/hobbies: Ukulele, Knitting, Crochet, Tea, Theatre, Literature, Poetry, Philosophy, Films, Cooking, Slash Fan Fiction, Board Games, Disney.
Favourite books: The Little Prince, Frankenstein, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Harry Potter, The Last Unicorn, Inkheart; Virginia Woolf, Aldous Huxley, A.E. Housman, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Truman Capote.
Favourite films: American Beauty, The Hours, Garden State, An Education, Chocolat, Doubt, Away We Go, A Single Man, Kramer VS Kramer, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Snowcake, Educating Rita, Funny Face, Little Miss Sunshine, Paris je-taime, All About Eve, Sunset Boulevard, Notes from a Scandal, Revolutionary Road, The Reader, Julie and Julia. What would you like to send/receive?: Letters, by post. No e-mails thanks. Packages etc as well, but we’ll see how we go.
Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone.
What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Any, but I only speak English. I’m about to start learning French, but we’ll see how good I am with it...I don't think I'll be able to write letters for a while.
Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Condoms, live animals and/or Adam Sandler films.
What would be in your dream letter or package?: Something handmade, anything to do with Autumn/Winter, Mix CDs.
Anything else you'd like to add?: I’d love to write letters to people in other countries. There is nothing better than going out to the mail box and seeing a hand-written letter nestled amongst the catalogues and bills. Let’s make each other’s lives a little more exciting.
