Name: Elizabeth

> Age: 25

> Location: Milwaukee, WI, USA

> How do you identify?: Lesbian

> Interests/hobbies: Reading, writing poetry, listening to music and playing guitar, watching movies, letterboxing (like Geocaching but without the GPS), knitting/crocheting, traveling, studying literature, history, languages, and more.

> Favourite books: I have so many, but here are a few: "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett, "Book of Hours" by Rilke, anything by Linda Pastan, the Stieg Larsson books, Geraldine Brooks' "People of the Book," "The Never-Ending Story," Radclyffe's medical dramas, and most recently, a lot of noir detective fiction.

> Favourite films: La Belle et la Bete, Star Wars, Devil Wears Prada (because I think Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are both pretty attractive), Firefly series, Farscape series, + so many more.

> Favourite music: pretty much anything depending on what mood I'm in.  Lately I've been listening to a lot of classical music featuring cellos (a phase, I'm sure) but I've been mixing in some modern rock and alternative, folk-rock, moldy oldies, and some lite R&B/HipHop.  I'm pretty much all over the charts on this one.

> What would you like to send/receive?: snail mail's good. Mix cds are always fun. Pictures, bookswaps, these are all good.  Interesting articles.  Poems you like.  Funny ads you see in magazines.  Whatever.  :)

> Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: people I find interesting. Probably would prefer to stick to the queer female. 20-35, I'd think for starters.

> What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: Any.  I've been studying Hebrew and Greek, so if anyone wants to practice their English with me and let me practice my Greek or Hebrew with them (and are very very brave, as I am not fluent), that'd be cool too.

> Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: (eg. "food/candy with nuts"). Nothing illegal or sexual, please.

> What would be in your dream letter or package?: I haven't thought about it that much, I guess. Thoughts, funny stories, just your basic "get to know you" kind of stuff.  Random bits of interesting things (I sometimes send photos I've taken or poems/articles I find interesting or funny).

> Anything else you'd like to add?: I don't think so. If you're interested, let me know.

What would you like to send/receive?: I'd like to shoot the breeze via the interwebs before advancing to snail mail. The content of our exchanges would then be up for debate.

Who would you like to send and receive mail from?: Anyone but James Joyce. But really, any kid around or above my age range with a sense of humo(u)r and the will to peel the figurative onion of my identity.

What countries would you like to receive mail from and send to?: My eye is on the USA, but I'm willing to open the floor to other anglophone or francophone countries.

Anything that you would particularly NOT like to receive?: Plenty of things. But I trust in your common sense.

What would be in your dream letter or package?: Um. A small parcel containing a key-chain from New Orleans, a picture of a tree, the soundtrack to The Hours, a piece of Star Wars paraphernalia, and a humorous letter penned in Franglais on a sheet of classy stationary addressing the problematic nature of the 'Emerge' sculpture outside of Trinity College in Dublin.

Anything else you'd like to add?: I'm not in the habit of listing favorites, and rarely do I succeed in communicating my exact intent on applications like this one. I have tried to provide you with an accurate cross-section of my mind in the space above, but as a warning, I'm pretty slippery and changeable. In all honesty, I've been people-sick for quite some time, and I'm just looking for other graveyard cats with whom to truly connect. Also, I am not to be taken seriously.
